Rear Hits to Arms, Legs and Head

In Beta 1 the rear aspect does not include any locations other then CTR, LTR and RTR. This means that no matter what you will always be hit in the 3 back locations no legs/arms etc. If firing from the BACK location (behind the target mech will be highlighted)

To get normal 'TableTop' rules in play you need to do as follows:

  1. Find your CombatGameConstants.json file in BattleTech_Data\StreamingAssets\data\constants
  2. scroll down until you see the following:
    "HitMechLocationFromBack" : [ { <lots of stuff> }, {more stuff}, etc ]
    You want to change the entire section to look like this:

3. Save the file.

More information on what this is doing etc can be found in the CombatGameConstants.json file format but inherently you are re-adding hit locatoins back into the game.

Damage Transfer etc will function correctly.
